OUR PARADES DISTRICT SERVICE - SUNDAY 6th JULY The annual District Service will will take place in Greenwell Street Presbyterian Church at 3.30pm Brethren and bands are asked to assemble in Mary Street at 2.45pm. The parade will begin at 3.00pm and be led by LOL 1952 and Dr Wright's Memorial Pipe Band. ROUTE Mary Street, Frances Street, Zion Place, Movilla Street, Greenwell Street into Church ROUTE (4.30pm) Greenwell Street, Market Street, Court Street, Old Cross Street, High Street, Mill Street, Gibson's Lane, Regent Street, Mary Street. THE TWELFTH - SATURDAY 12th JULY Prior to departing for Portavogie, Newtownards District will parade our own town from 9am on 12th July morning. Participants are asked to be in Mary Street for 8.45am to begin parading at 9am. The parade will be led by LOL 1952 and Dr Wright's Memorial Pipe Band. ROUTE Mary Street, Frances Street, Zion Place, George's Street, New Road, Portaferry Road onto buses The District buses will be waiting on Portaferry Road, ready to depart at 9.30am. The demonstration Portavogie will begin at 12 noon. On return from Portavogie in the evening No.4 District will de-bus on Old Shore Road and parade to the traditional finishing point in Conway Square. ROUTE (6.00pm) Old Shore Road, Upper Greenwell Street, New Road, Portaferry Road, Castle Street (against traffic), High Street into Conway Square
